Product Data Sheet: DT 2020 “Sulfuric Acid Alky Neutralizer”

DT-2020 is a mixture of alkaline buffers and corrosion inhibitors used to neutralize sulfuric acid residue in the reaction sections of Sulfuric Acid Alky Units. DT2020 is circulated through the equipment to be neutralized, it can be used from ambient to 2500 F.

  • Near neutral pH.
  • Corrosion inhibitor to prevent acid attack on equipment.
  • Very low foaming.
  • Cannot form stable emulsions.
  • Generally acceptable for draining to the Oil Water Sewer System
  • DT-2020 is a Non-Hazardous material
